    im a newb to box building... help me out

    got my e12a on the way and new to box building.. thinkin im gonna do a sealed box, since this is my first box ive ever built(probally try a vented later), but for now i wanna keep it simple. how do i go about building this... after getting the wood i need how do i cut the circle to make sure its perfect? also, what is needed to seal the box(ex: liquid nails).... then how do i actualy go around attaching everything? what tools do i need to do all of this and how hard is it to carpet a box and how would i do that.........sorry for all the newb questions but ive just never built my own before.. thanks alot

    also, if i decided to add an angle in the back, how would i do that and seal that?

    Grr. Master Blaster, you need to start thinking about the fact that you aren't the only one on this forum. He hasn't made a ported box before, and he wants to start out with a sealed, so lets help him do it.

    As far as your circle, make a compass of some sort to draw it perfectly onto your baffle. If you have a router, you can purchase or make a template that will get you a perfect, edge-free cutout. I don't have a template yet, so I drill a hole into the inside of the circle, and use a jigsaw to cut the circle out. The hole doesn't have to have perfectly smooth edges, as long as your driver fits snugly, and is well-sealed when you screw it into the baffle.

    If you wanted an angled back, just make sure the inside angles of your top and bottom baffle compliment each other. This you can pretty much figure out by looking at it, and making sure your angles match up.
