Couple of box questions, help please

I have 2 12" Type E's alpine subs and i wanna make a custom sealed enclosure for it. I searched the forum and i cant find the post about it, but i remember seein it. it was about making the raised lettering under the capet of alpine sticking up. How do you do that again? Also how can i find out how much space inside the box the alpine subs will take up? I wanna make the box exactly 1.25 airspace for each sub. Thanks guys!

u can use a foam based meterial, 1/4"-1/2 wood.. anything u can think of..

its gonna b sealed, it reccomends .80 to 1.75, is 2.5 gonn b a bit big or what? jus tell me man and thats whta ill build

hmm i c so if i use an enclosure thats 2.5 is it gona b loud and boomy or really tight or jus right

i'd say keep it right around 1cube for type e's if your keeping it sealed. should keep it nice and tight
