    35hz v 45hz

i got 1 15 L7. its in a roughly 3 ft cubic box wit a 35hz port. i want it louder. i got it on a 1500w crunch amp and am curious if building a new box would be worth the difference? 35hz v 45hz or mayb a lil lower like 42hz or somethin?

I'd say 4.5^3 @ 38hz should be good, also look into another amp that does a bit more power, those subs can take quiet a bit of power.

its probably the box, different design will most likely give you more output,at least it did for me

allso they say sub up port to the side works well in a trunk car unless you walled it

imo, aero's tend to turbo the bass,so to speak.lots of people like slots, from my experience, aero's are more effecient if done properly

    Re: 35hz v 45hz

if it was me,i would go with the sub completly on 1 side and do dual aero ports on the other, that alone would most likely give you more output.and raise tuning to 38-40.kicker subs like the high tunes lol
