    Port length from wall.

If my port is 24" W x 5" H and my box is 26" deep whats the longest i can make the port without getting to close to the rear wall? Is there a certain distance away from the rear wall i shouldn't exceed?

You shouldnt exceed the port's width away from the back wall/any wall...just a rule of thumb

So, my 4" ports are 4" away from the back wall of my enclosure..

    Re: Port length from wall.

Wait so does that mean it shouldn't be more than 5" away from the wall or 24" because my width is 24"?
