Box Help for 12" Kicker L7

Hi I'm looking for some help designing and possibly building a 2.5 cu. ft. box for a single Kicker L7 and I'm hoping to get it tuned around 33hz. I'll post some dimensions that I have to work with when I get home from school but I was hoping something along the lines of 17 X 16 X 14 inches. If there is anyone in the metro area that would be willing to build a box for me could I possibly get a quote? Thanks

You need to give up more room. You want 2.5 cubic feet, on top of that you need to add in probably another .75 for port and sub displacements, so internally you are looking for you 3.25 cubic feet. 17x16x14 gives you only 1.62 cubic feet not including the sub, port, or any bracing.

Ok I went into my car and did some measurements and I can work with dimensions similar to 19.5 in (W) X 18 (H) X 16 (D). Does anyone have any suggestions for the actual sketch of the box? thanks.

Its a 2008 Ford Edge but I'm trying to keep as much room as possible so I was hoping to go with a final box volume of 2.5 cu. ft. but like Moe pointed out I had to factor in the port and sub displacement so I think that my measurements come out to 3.25 cu. ft. exactly...
