    Re: Screw length

at least 1 1/2". make sure you pre-drill to keep the mdf from splitting. happens real easily if you use 1 1/2"-2" screws if you dont pre-drill your holes.

1 5/8 drywall or deck and Titebond or Loctite works best for me. Liquid nails *****, just to add.

    Re: Screw length

1 5/8" coarse drywall screws predrilled 1 1/2" to prevent splitting.
    Tite Bond for the glue.
    This is for 3/4"MDF.

For fiberglass to mdf I use 1 1/2" coarse drywall screws, predrilled 1 1/2".
Liquid Nails for the fiberglass to mdf parts, Tite Bond for MDF to MDF.

Don't use Liquid Nails on an all MDF box, I ONLY use it to attach fiberglass to MDF.

2000 GMC extended cab. Cheap Pioneer HU, cheaper speakers in the doors, stock speakers in the rear! Time for an install!

    Bought from- MechMan, 528hz, exige, Papermaker, j3bus2k3, basebalz13, revrider1, FRITO, dacheatham, 350zspl

If we have done business please leave feedback!
