Wall

So Im going to put my 21" DP in my Camaro and Im not real sure how to build a wall. Any tips would really help out guys.

The easiest way IMO would be to build a box that will fit as tight, but still go in relatively easily, sub/port forward. And seal it with beauty panels, just make a template of the inside where they're needed with cardboard.

What you would use for the actual "wall" look and function. Peices of mdf that you mount to the box that extend to the sides of the car and the roof.

oh...well thats sounds somewhat simple. What about brackets on the bottom. There are spaces where the bucket seat used to be so I should probably put brackets across to lay the bottom board on right?

Pics so I can get an idea of what you're working with? But from what I'm getting out of what you're saying, you want to rest the front of box on the brackets?

Well I would have to put brackets across the bottom of the back so that the bottom would rest evenly across. There is a hump in the middle and two dips from where the bucket seats were before I took them out.

Ah I got ya, that's what I thought. That would work, just make sure it's all strong enough to support the weight. You could just pannel all the way around. That'll look sick.

I would just build a sturdy rack, and bolt it down. What are the specs on your enclosure going to be?

Well Im hoping I can fit 7.5 cubes tuned around 33-35 hz

That'll work, you may be able to squeeze a little more volume out by extending out and/or down. Just a thought, 7.5 will work though.
And I'm not sure if I fully understood you're last post, did I answer your question?

Haha no problem.
Walls are fun. It's been a while since I've done a true wall and I miss it. I was in the process of walling 4 13w7's in my Expedition, but never got to beauty pannels because I had ordered 2 DP21"s.
Well enough of my babbling, you're going to enjoy doing a wall if you're anything like me.
