The Art Of Carpeting Your Box

Well I decided to remove the pos carpeting I got on my current sub box and redo it with a different color to match my trunk interior. I googled around and did some searching (I'm on my phone at work). But I seen techniques for boxes that have the top and bottom panels futher out then the sides. Kinda like kicked prefab and Q-Logic boxes. Mine is flushed all around. Any ideas or your methods of doing this...

If it's flush all the way around...you could try it like this..

Just keep a steady hand all the way around like the seam at the top there....you you could simply cut 6 pieces of carpet the size of the sides of your enclosure and trim the edges and it'd be pretty seamless looking

I think my box is what you were trying to describe as being inlayed

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...ostdone026.jpg

I just did an entire wrap around it, tucked the corners and then made 2 seperate pieces for the sides.

But that doesnt help with your box lol
