Icon32 when putting in a port?

would a tube port make a sub louder than a slot port, a slot port would have more volume traveling through a wide rectangle at the end making the air move slower... at least thats what i think. if i had a round port that was narrow but not too narrow the air would move faster through it creating a louder bass. is my thinking correct? what are everyones best experiences with, round or sloted?

round and slot will do the same thing depending how big the round ones are so that they dont make port noise. Most people use slot cause there easy to build, and they work better

    Shape means nothing...

It's the port area that counts...

Actually the larger the port the better. You want to have less port terbulance to cut down on possible "port noise".
