truck box?

ok.. im starting to plan out my truck box for a 15" sub goin under the back seat of my 00' GMC Sierra ext cab. would it sound better facing up or down and is there a certain requirement for clearance from the floor ... or seat ... as long as the sub isnt hitting nething? i might have to raise the seats onto some 2 by 4's to get the sub to fit (only if it doesnt tho) . i think ive heard that been done ... ne suggestions? thanks

facing up or down shouldnt really make much of a difference..r you using a sealed or ported box?

If you face the sub firing down u might a have a lil more rattle then you would with it firing up.

If you face the sub firing down u might a have a lil more rattle then you would with it firing up. And if you did face it down u might want to pust some little rubber feet or something to higher the box so it doesnt rest on the floor of ur truck.
