    Re: ported wedge?

I would point them up at the ceiling or put a 90 degree bend on an aero-port. What subs? that's about 1.37 cubes before any displacements

    Re: ported wedge?

the design and shape of your box will be dependant. You need to build the box to be able to fit the aero ports. I am certain you are going to have to do some bends to get them to fit in the box and around the woofers. If you build the box and then expect that you can just slide them in, you will for sure have dome trouble.

    Re: ported wedge?

that box is far too small to do 4 8's ported anyway. a single 10 could be an option, but port displacement and sub displacement will probably bring volume down too much. a single 12 sealed would work. 4 8's sealed would probably work, but there's limited air space for 4. 3 would be better, but ohm load could pose a problem there. 2 shallow mount 12's would work ported. i know the pioneers only need .65 per 12. 2 ported 8's would sound fine too. you have alot of options, but choking a big sub in a small box will sound worse than a smaller sub in a proper box. IMHO.

    Re: ported wedge?

wtf? you can't just build a box then decide to toss in a port...ports are an integral part of the whole assembly, not an afterthought
