    15" TC3k Enclosure

    Hey guys,

    Just posting up some plans for my enclosure build for the 15" TC-3000 on it's way

    It will be 4.19 cubes, tuned to 26Hz, and 64 sq inches of port area

    Here she is..









    Im hoping to start this in the near future but I don't think it's going to be the quickest build in the world



    <First and only dual-alternator 'real' Saturn (pre 2002) on the planet>
    Team Concepts, Team Shok Industries Team XS Power
    Soon: Mystery subs + AQ20k
    12.75 cubes net ~25Hz tuning 200 sq inches of port (lowz?)
    AC position- 250 amp alt
    Stock alt position- 225 amp alt
    (2) XS Power D3100's
    4 power+ 4 ground runs of 1/0-gauge to rear
    152.1 @ 40Hz legal, certified...just getting started.

    how the hell do you calculate that internal volume of something like that!?

Sold a box and 18" HDC318 to chitown_impala. Bought my 2 custom 15's from 99Vic on steave meade forum. NJTStang11- picked up 18" SSX and box from him krispy cream SCAMMED ME $200!!!

    Using sketch up you just highlight the area that the port doesn't cover and then multiply that by the height and you get the airspace left for the submoofer

    I can't imagine its necessary for you to have made it so complicated, there are empty spaces, why?

    imo you'd be better off redesigning the port more properly/linearly, though it does look crazy

    Because And if I were to fill the empty spaces with the port and redesign it the airspace would increase and Id really like to keep it at around 4 cubes for the sub...

    How do you take into acount the rounded port edges? Or do you just count them at 90's?
