    slot ports

    i've just finished making my 4.6ft3 ported box tuned to 30Hz and i need to know whether or not to round the edges of the slot port like on the nomal round ports? any help would be great

    If you can make it round smooth and even, I'm sure it MIGHT be beneficial somehow.

    Rounding the inner and outter edges will help reduce the "whistling" or port distortion.
