    length of screws for mdf

    I read in a prior post that you should screws twice teh length of the thickness of the wood, is this so, also if you could respond to my oithre thread about handles for a box and terminals. also which are better binding post terminals of spring terminals

    that is what i use also.

    some of the team uses other types of screws but they always go 1 5/8 or 1 3/4
    nothing shorter

    and predrill

    lots of glue too
