wich of the 2 boxes below will be better in a hatchback style car?
#1 will have a 5.25"x15.01" port and #2 will have a 6"x20.23" port,. wich both of them tune the box to~38

i believe that I have heard to have subs and port facin the same way.

To your ear...it won't matter, on the meter, might see a few tenths of a decibel difference...

If it doesn't matter which way the port faces, then either box will do...won't it. I mean the only difference is which way the port faces. Just make sure you hava enough room in front of the port. It should be no closer than it's diameter. (If you have a 4" diameter port then you box/port should have 4" of room in front of it. If you have a slot port use it's width.)
