    1st post building my first box ned help

    i have two sony x plods i want to know what is the best box dimensions for these subs and do these subs like ported or a sealed box...if anyone can help me out i would greatly appreciate it

    model? of the car..the car is a 2007 focus sedan and the subs are xs-l121p5....12inch subs

    you just need 1 cuft for each sub for a sealed box

    Also if you are looking for dimensions to build the box it would be beneficial to us if you gave us the maximum dimensions you can go inside the car. Also remember that it has to get stuff through the opening in the trunk too.

    ok new so spare me what is 2ct...and i wanted to build a box that was about
    30inches across 18 inches tall..and width im not sure how much room should i leave between the magnet and the back board?

    for the width you might wanna go with 7.5

    So it'd be: 30 x 18 x 7.5

    That should give you roughly 2.1 cu ft net volume inside. You have to use 3/4" wood for those dimensions
