Choosing an Amp

I am trying to find a good amp for my 2 Fosgate HE 12's. I dont really understand how to read the specs on amps and stuff like that. What does this mean: 100 x 2 @ 4 ohms.
What would be a good amp for those subs with enough power, doesn't have to be the best. Any response would be appreciated.

I cant recall who, but there are a number of guys on here that know the actual logic behind the resistance of ohms, personally I just count 1 ohm as half of the power.

So with my logic the 200w rms @ 4 ohm would be 400w @ 2 ohm and 600w @ 1 ohm altho that sub is never 1 ohm stable and a low budget amp will not be 1 ohm stable.

Personally for your HE12´s, I would wire them in series and power them with the US Acoustics USX800D amp which gives you 400w @ 4 ohm or 600w @ 2 ohm i recall

costs of the amp on sounddomain or somewhere near 250 $

Yeah, I think it should be 200w, 4ohm SVC.

subs are stable just fine, even if the amp should drop to 0.5ohms, so long as the power being delivered doesn't go overboard. It's the amp that you mentioned that will probably not be 1 ohm stable.
