Two individual chambers with 2.1^3 @ 38, or one box 4.1^3 @38?
its for 2 mtx 8512s. mtx recommends 2^3 @ 38, but does anyone know if they perform better at different freq or size?

bump?
Sealed or ported? 4.1 cubes seems rather large for an acoustic coupled sealed box for these 2 12s.
But it all depends on what you are looking for.
There is no better or worse, just different.
Doing 2 subs per chamber can yield a louder result but sometimes accuracy is lacking.
If done right, the 2 subs should acoustically couple and "act" as one.
Every box I build has multiple subs in a common chamber.
But 4.1 cubes is a good size for a ported box.

Based on the fact that he gave a tuning, I'll go out on a limb and say ported.
