    HELP!! changing spaker size in door.

    ok was going to buy a 5.25" comp set cause thats what fits my doors but i said **** it. ill buy 2 cdt comp sets from the zeb. you know the 6.5 that are on sale....so the question is.

    what the best method for fitting a 6.5" speaker in a a 5.25" hole? now i know i have to make it larger but i need some step by steps. thanks

    Best way if you want to cut. Is to make a template for the hole. Then break out the saw. Make sure your not going to cut through your window track or any wires that might be in the door. If you don't want to cut. You can find spacers that will allow what you want to do. but they will stick out farther. And might not fit behind the door panels without modifications.
