Renting a table saw? Buy new?

I was thinking about building a new box. Does anyone know how much it would be to rent one from home depot or lowes? Or how much a decent one would be that is cheaper ? Thanks

I just do not want to get one that is not good. But i found one on ebay that is close im going to look into it i will prob only need it for building a box. haha.

yeah check the paper or classifieds in your area, i bought mine at a thrift store for 99 bucks

check pawn shops too, i found a JET cabinet saw for $500 for my brother neighbor's shop

Sears craftsmans for 130-200.they have a few different models.These will work for the basic box building.

I would sooner put that 200$ into a circular saw... A "small" table saw will be hard to use for long rips..

The last few boxes I've built were with my 18v circular saw and a clamped on guide fence. I own a table saw BTW..

If your a smart carpenter you can get good results with some pretty simple tools.

We have a craftsmen table saw we picked up for like 200 bucks. It gets the job done I would just buy one if I were you. If you are in this hobby it probably wont be to long till your making another haha

Yea but i doubt i am going to make more than 1 more in the next year.
