Kind of a BIG problem....possibly?
I had originally designed a sealed enclosure to house a 12" Brahma, but have decided on a different sub. The enclosure is 1.7 cu. ft. sealed.
Now, ED's website says the recommended enclosure size is 1.0! I know that I can add bracing to take away from air space, but how in the hell do I know how much bracing to add?
I mean can I just add a 3/4" by 10" block of MDF in one of the corners and that will take care of the .7 cu. ft. I am over?
I really don't want to build another box, so if anyone can tell me what size bracing I need to put in there to take away the .7 cu. ft. that would be great.
I thought I put on there what the other sub was.
It is going to be an e12a.
I talked to Ben at ED a while back, before I totally decided on an enclosure, and told him that I would probably be building a sealed enclosure that was 1.3 cu. ft. He said that was going to be too big, so I need to take away some of the air space inside the box.
I'm not sure, I'll have to talk to Ben tomorrow when I call him about ordering it?
