I have a box in my toyota xtra cab that is 5.3 cubes and tuned to 35 htz. I used polyfill as per instructed by kicker and it slams.

cubic feet = length x width x height

hence cubic, as in ft^3.

3 dimensions = cubed

So for example, a 12 inch x 12 inch x 12 inch box would be 1 cubic foot.
