alright guys, building a box

alright fellas I am starting to build my box for my 2 K's


I am thinking that I am going to go ported. I have the entire bed of my truck to play with and am needing to know what to tune it to. I am thinking maybe 2 cubes per sub plus port, am I way off here or does this sound right.

I am also looking for a amp to run them. believe they are 500 rms or 6. what amp will put these to business. thanks for any input. looking to stay within the 350 mark for the amp. thanks

Arent the 15Ks 900maxRMS? Reccommended 400watts...? I got the same sub Im getting the USX800D, you should opt for the 1000D (1250 @ 1ohm) for >400 http://www.thezeb.com/caraudio/us_acoustics.html

sweet, I think this is what I am going to do. 2.5 cubes per sub, slot port tuned to 30. now where can I find that calculator that tells me how long. also, I am hearing talk about this port noise. will this be a problem for this box. anyone. thanks.

found that already. ok. see if this makes sense. 5 ft^3 8.75 x 5 x 18.24 = around 30 hz. correct. ???
