WTB Box ofr 12w3

Hey guys. I finally decided on my 4runner setup and looking to put in 1 12w3 powered by a 5 channel Alpine amp pushing 300RMS to sub channel

Looking for someone to build me a box that would make it sound the best and be LOUD!

This is going in an 07 4runner in the trunk so I have no idea if ported/sealed is the best.

Also, dont even know if this should be in this forum.

I got 2 W3 in a 6 cubed box tuned to 35. Sounds good, but w3 don't really get too loud, but I would suggest around 35 hz.

Where in Jersey are you located?

I have no "max" dimensions. The trunk in the 4runner is huge. I assume that the even the perfect box wouldnt even be close to taking up a quarter of the trunk.

What is the ideal size and ill tell you if its too big.

Well, it's kind of difficult for anyone to design it just because you " say " there plenty of room.

By telling us what you have for the max dimensions W x H x D gives us the ability to design the enclosure to use the space as effectively as possible and not waste time by first designing it and then you telling us it fits or does not fit because this or that has to change to make it fit and wasting time in the process.

Alright let's say this. No wider than 16" no deeper than 12" and no taller than 16". Does that seem fair for a JL 12w3 powered by a 300RMS sub

Im going for more spl than sq here in the trunk.

I'd like it to be covered in black carpet too.

If you're going for SPL you might want to look into a different sub.

Maybe those dimensions have to be larger. What do you guys think?
