2X 18 hdc3 box size and tuning?

I have 1 of the 18 hdc3s in a 8 cubic foot box at 37hz. Kinda a big box so i wanna make the next one smaller (not 16 cubes haha). I'm thinking about like 12 cubic feet tuned to 35hz.

Any suggestions?

sounds about right...I would tune 38-40 myself.....but that is just me

I have 2 HDC 18s in a 10.25cu.ft. enclosure tuned to 38hz and it sounds amazing. These subs don't need that big of an enclosure. DJ recommends 5cu.ft. per sub.

how did you get that too look all woodgrain and how did you do the logos? thats lookin sleek

Front panels are stained Baltic Birch, rest of box is Trupan. Logos were cut out with a jigsaw then LOTS of time filing, sanding, etc... to make them look right.

Everytime, I see that box, I soo want to run a pair of HDC3 18s in my trunk. I know 15s would be a better fit, but its just something about those
