kurfed ports..but with birch??

seen it with MDF...never with birch..

anyone done this with birch? will it work? pics will help, and any tips/pointers. thanks!!

I've heard that it's a bit easier because the birch bends more then mdf, it wont just crack

Tcab did/does it iirc. same concept as the mdf, make relief cuts and bend then fill the gaps with some woodglue and sawdust.

That all depends on how much of an angle you want it to have.

meh... i do every half inch on mine

cut down to the very last layer (around 1/8th of an inch)
