What kinda enclosure can I do in this amount of space

I won't be able to do a blowthrough in my 1994 Sonoma.
I've got space behind the seats right now thats:
    8 1/4" wide
    52" long
23" tall, or could go right to the ceiling.

What kind of enclosure would you guys run such a space?
What kind of subs could I use? I've been looking at shallow mount Pioneers,
I want the loudest subs I can get for my space.
I thinking, do a "wall" with shallow mount subs.
Would also like the enclosure to be ported.
I just got it so I gotta clean it out.

Could probably do 2 shallow mount 12's in a ported box with external aeros.

    SI-bm, pioneer shallows, etc.

well u will have around 4.2 cu f before any displacement

you could do 2 shallow 12's or 10's or maybe even 3 or 4 10's or 12's not sure what the airspace is on those subs and what not but i am sure somone will chime in

Re: What kinda enclosure can I do in this amount of space

Would it be possible to go right to the roof and fit 4 10s or 4 12s?
I'll get measurements to the roof tommorow when it stops snowing.
What else is out there other than the Pioneer Shallows? I don't like the look of em (lol)
    IDK what SI-bm is..
I want some subs that hit low aswell.

SI is a subwoofer and BM is one of the models.

JL and RE both have new lines of shallow mount subs out.

4 10's or 12's in a "pseudo-wall" might be possible, depending on the drivers you use.

Re: What kinda enclosure can I do in this amount of space

I have a std cab s-10, and I can cram about 2 cubes ported (using chimney-style ports) and an amp rack without going over the window line. Just move the seat up to the first notch before all-the-way-back. You have about 12" bottom depth, I think 12" height, and like 7" top depth. Do a ~25 sq in slot port on one side, and you should be at window height (you might have to extend the port a little into the box depending on tuning). 34 Hz tuning gives you around 24" port length, so you're looking at 1.75-2 cubes IIRC. This also allows a couple inches of clearance for excursion

If you just want to throw the amps under the seats, you can get a lot more room.

I would also consider doing a few 8s in a down-firing sealed enclosure. I was going to do that with some ED 9kv.2s, but they got lost by UPS, and I haven't been able to trade for another set.

Well since my seat is busted and trashed, I'm gunna be installing two seats from a Cavalier/Sunfire.
Do you still have shallow mount woofers or are they "full size"?
    Do you have any photos?

    HMMMMMmmmm
I like the RE SL (the shallow mounts)
I'm thinking 4 10s in this "pseudo-wall" you speak of may be do able, but I'd rather 4 12s. Is it possible ported?

Re: What kinda enclosure can I do in this amount of space

I almost had the same exact truck, a 96 reg cab sonoma, i had a rather large sealed box in there that I wouldnt suggest unless you are under 5'7".

I would suggest a box that is 52" wide, 22" tall, 4" top depth, 8" bottom depth. Run 4 10"s if you can, the cab will be very loud inside if you get over 1000rms on the 4 10"s.

Full size. With the wedge shape of the enclosure, I can fit about 7" of mounting depth.
