kicker 12' l7 box

So right now i have a cheap prefab box thats only 2 cu. ft. for my sub and i want to get a custom box, i already have someone to build it but im not sure what size to make it.If any of you have ported box specs that would work good with a kicker l7 help me out and tell me what they are.

also should i have the sub firing up or back towards the back window? i have a chevy blazer

I would do 24Wx13Hx20D with 1 6" port 18" long with the sub facing the passenger side and the port facing the back That box sounds the best for a single sub in a SUV ask Skip01 to post a Video of his 1 sub in a box similair to the one I just gave you...

download the tech manual from Kicker. I made mine to their specs, the largest box they reccomended. It's like 3.25 cubes. Only thing I don't like about it is the port's on the side of the box, facing the d-side wall, but it still sounds **** good in my SUV. Never played around with different facing ports and stuff, so don't know what kind of effect the side-exiting port has.

that seems to be the norm for SUV enclosures. It's up to you, i'm not expereinced with different box setups, so I can't say
