cheap box, good subs???

Is it that important that you have to get a really good box for really good subs????..For instance, do i need to get a really good box for JL Audio 10 W3 V2s or can i just get a 70$ one on ebay?

Go out and spend $30, build one yourself. It's the bes/cheapest way to go.

If you insist on getting a prefab box, make sure it meets the required size that the company suggests, and is made of at least 3/4" MDF...

the box should ALWAYS be important, no matter if you have 10$ subs or 10,000$ subs. I'de say make a nice $50 box from MDF, and you cant get better than sometihng u make. Otherwise, prefab sealed enclosures are fine (probaly going sealed anyway? (w3's are SQ)), but i would stay away from ported prefabs.

install is key...cant have great subs and skimp on the box, that would defeat the purpose of buying nice subs...
