someone who will DESIGN a box for free, please read

ok im getting two new kicker L7 12's pretty soon and i need a ported box designed that will fit in my cobalt.

dimesion restrictions are.
height is the biggest problem it can only be 13.5"
width around 35" and depth around 15-18"
the last box i build the depth was way to big.

as far as the tuning goes. if you can actually design a box then you should know what sounds best for the subs possibly? and if not i just want the suggestion for the subs by kicker but im praying that someone will just come up with a box that they knows sounds great for the subs.

and if you need anymore info from me to do this let me know.

well before any displacement you are only looking at around 3.8cuft so i dont think the box would be gid enough to go ported espcially after displacement those subs wouldnt have much air you are gonna need about 5cuft net

thats why i said someone who knows what they are talking about design me a box. there are perfect boxes on ebay that would probably fit in my car and i know they sound good cause my buddy has one. thats why im trying to find someone who knows what they are talking about to design me one

13.5" x 18" x 35" = 4.92 cubic feet gross
13.5" x 15" x 35" = 4.10 cubic feet gross

However, both of those numbers are too small to properly run 2 12" L7s ported. After wood displacement, sub displacement, and port displacement, there will barely be any air left for the woofers, probably only around 1 cubic foot a piece.

Therefore you're going to want to either do 2 10s ported, or 2 12s sealed. If you're going to go sealed, I would look into a different sub than an L7.

the box i have built now takes up my entire trunk its like 28 in depth and 36 in width. i have the room. i just dont know what im talking about. a ported box for two kicker l7 12's CAN fit in my cobalt and sound good.

To the OP, there is no possible way to design a feasible box for your situation. It is impossible.

I'd look at getting different subs, as that is really your only viable option.

Yeah I did external dimensions. He clearly doesn't have enough based on the external dimensions, much less the internal dimensions. In my explanation, I said he would still have to account for wood, sub, and port displacement, hence I gave him external dimensions. Your calculations are net air displacement, without accounting for sub and port displacement, not gross calculations. Mine are gross space calculations. However, your math is perfectly fine.
