    Re: Smoked my Tail Lights

seth i woudlnt do your fronts, any bugs/rocks/flying sht will chip them off and they will look like sht, if you search google there should be a way to bake them and paint them from the inside, ive seen it done on some explorers, just depends on how your casings are.

i need to redo mine with some clearcoat...they are looking faded.

I want to get clear front turn signals... Mine are like 1' long and yellow.

Theres a ton of visual mods I wanna do to my van. I wanna get rims, a new grill, replace all the plastic cheap trim, lower it, etc.

sand them down w/ a very fine grit sp and polish them w/ plastic polish that has some type of uv protectant. that way they wouln't yellow... did it on my lincoln, came out really nice.

    Re: Smoked my Tail Lights

It has more on it... A whole other coat or two. Theyre really dark.

So should I wait for it to dry, wet sand with a really finy paper then clear? Or should I just clear them? Or even bother with any of that?

Definately clear them, as long as you laid out the coating evenly and theres no runs I dont see a reason to wet sand. Even you change your mind after you clear it you can wet sand the clear a little and polish them up.

Personally I would clean em, spray em, clear em, polish em, done
