Would this box work good in my s10 reg cab

Well right now i have a s10 reg cab and i have the current setup in it as shown below. The prob is i want to give my subs a lil more airspace and i dont know how to extend my box without building it over the tool box. This is where i need help, will this work fine or would it sound bad? I have no chamber in the middle, its all one box. The pics below try to explain what im trying to do. Please help thanks guys

The pic above shows the current system i have in my truck. The pic below shows what i want to do. I Want to extend the box so it goes over my tool box thus hopefully adding airspce. The prob is would it add airspace to both subs or just one, or would it even sound nice?

Well, if the subs are sharing the same box, meaning there isn't a divider separating them, then yes, airspace will be added to both of them. It should sound better, as long as the airspace is sufficient enough for both woofers. Here's a better pic, i am really bored today.

alrite thanks tommy i guess ill try doing that over the weekend, and yes thanks for makin the better pic, whats exactly what i wanted to do. I hope it sounds better. Also should i polly fill the box to make it seem bigger or what

You could try some polyfill and see how it sounds to you. If the box is big enough you could probably go without it, but it doesn't hurt to try. Do you have any idea how much cubic feet the box is? Also, what kind of subs do you have?
