    sealing box

    What is the difference in caulk you use to seal your enclosure. I heard you are supposed to use 100% silicone, but I got some siliconized latex cualk would that work just as good?



    Alpine CDA-9813
    Infinity Kappa 60.5s Component Speakers
    U.S. Acoutics 2080x for the comps (80x2 @ 4 ohms)
    1 ed e12O.44 in a 2ft.^3 sealed box.
    Soundstream RUB500-1 for the sub (400x1 @ 2 ohms)

    ive made box's without using caulk, but more liquid nails. But yeh, i beleive any caulk will work.. just make sure to put it everywhere...

    I usually use liquid nail whn im placing the box together, then I seal it all up with silicone...
