Ported or Sealed?
I'm getting 2 12" RE SE subs and I have unlimited space in my truck. Should I go with a ported box or a sealed box in your opinion. Powered by a jbl 1200.1
If you want loud go with the ported. If you want a little tighter bass go with the sealed. Either way they'll sound good and get loud. I'm glad to see that you've finally skewed away from the big name "popular" brands and decided to go with some subs that will perform just as good, if not better, than those brands. Plus you'll do it for cheaper.

Ya...I figured that if everyone is telling me to do it, I cant go wrong. Plus I would probably hate myself if I got some kickers or something and then found out that I would have rather had the RE SE's.
As for the box, do you know where I can get ported boxes or how much on average it costs for a shop to build one. I already have a box that is 3.1^3 ft and I can EASILY make it ported. What do you think??? 3 3"x13" ports to make around a 35Hz ported box? and what about the subsonic filter?
