Question about building a sub box

I am considering building a ported box for my kicker CVR. Where could I get some decent free plans to build one?

Also how much does it usually cost to build a single 12" sub box?

Do not buy a prefab box. Build your own if you can, if not, find something to build it for you.

And yes, there are some free plans stickied at the top of the enclosure section.

Re: Question about building a sub box

I am a fan of the vented enclosures, but the cvr is recommended for between 1 and 4.6 ft^3 sealed enclosures...i would go larger than 1.25(actually wouldn't use sealed but if this is what you want...)

I wanted to go ported at first actually but someone said it would sound bad?

How much do you think it would cost me for a vented box? On ebay they all seem to go for a lot.

buy one of this guy, his work is better than a prefab and cheaper than building it yourself

Re: Question about building a sub box

Ok screw it I am building one myself.

Ok so I need wood from home depot (I can get them to cut it to the right sizes for me I think)

then box terminals, screws, and what kind of glue do I need?

Can anyone help me find a box plan for a single 12" kicker CVR
