    volume formula?

    trying to to figure the volume for a truck box i am building. i know how to split the triangle shape of the box so as to look like a rectangle and triangle to figure the volume. what is the formula to figure out the volume for the triangle of the box?

    if this is to confusing let me know-lol

    ty bonesninja. jimj good formula but that's for the rectangle not the triangle part of the box. thanks though.
