So i got with bucky boy for my new box build for my truck and i really like what we came up with! It will be for a 10" HDC3 and is tuned to 36Hz using two 2" aeroports.

Anybody see any problems or have opinions?

Ports are too small. Especially for a woofer that moves so much air.

Also the tuning is slightly lower than 36hz. It is close to 33-34hz.

what size ports do you think i should go with?

At least 1 4" aero port or two 3" aero ports. That's just not enough port area.

two 3" need 17.77" each(not possible)
one 4" needs 15- Is that possible? but then thw port would have to go in the side and only fire out one way towards a door...

maybe you can use elbows on the ends of the ports to get your lenth. not sure though

im trying to buy them straight so i can use psp-inc's flared ports.

well for my one hdc315 i have my box tuned to about 42 and with 3 4in external aeros. but what size sub youy have 12, 15 or what?
