yeah ok dude do whatever you blow your shi* up i dont care either way
Maybe in a small sealed box with the gains turned down, so they're not seeing 1500watts. RL-P's only need around 750, so feeding them double that for daily will burn em up. Mine would get pretty stinky off a single 1500D if cranked for a few songs in a row, and gain was set properly...
The RL-P is a TC-9 which is rated at 1kW each. They can take more power in the proper enclosure. 1500 RMS for a long period of time might be tough, but unless you're just hammering them continually in the parking lot, I don't think I'd worry.
Are your RL-Ps dual 4 or dual 2? if they're dual 4 and you have 'em hooked up at 1 ohm, then you're likely getting about 750RMS each to them.... that amp should push about 1500 RMS. If they're dual 2s, then you're prolly hooked at 2 ohms, and they're lucky to be getting 500RMS each.
You subs CAN take more power than you're giving them, either way. 3kW? Mmmmmm not sure continually, but short-term.... prolly.
