audiobahn aw1006 box in a mustang

Hey, I have two audiobahn aw1006q subs powered by an audiobahn a2300 hct amp. I was wondering what would be the ideal box for these subs. I've searched previous forum posts and I noticed a lot of people recomend ported, but the the problem is my 93 ford mustang has a very small trunk and the bigest box size i could fit would 11 inches tall, 12 inches deep, and 26 inches wide. Ill get back to u on this one im working on a 1 cubic foot slot ported box with those very speakers. You should easily be able to fit two of these in the trunk of your car... i think. So far the box is just barely larger than the wood box that is came in.

if ur not set on ported then i would recommend sealed since u don't have much room to work with. u only have like 1.9 cubic feet total so i would say a dual chamber sealed box with those dimensions

I'm not set on either, I just want whatever would sound best in my car. I would like ported but based on looking at the specs, I'm guess i don't have enough cubic feet for ported, so i guess im asking what would be the pros and cons of both, also are those boxes they sell at bestbuy and circuit city of good quality, because I noticed a could a sealed box for 50 dollars that had 1 cu ft for each sub and was made of 3/4 mdf

I wouldn't seal them....and I would definitely give them a lot of airspace. Audiobahns are very picky in the box that they go in...I would try to get around 2 cubes per sub..
