woofer irrelevant, not stupidly big, just wanting to make a temporary box for my new sub, and was considering trying some different designs.
so, in your opinion (or preferably experience) whats the loudest design type?

its broad, but not so broad that I should get flamed.
I have explained the situation, so people should be able to work out on their own that I'm looking for a box that will still play music (not just a burp box) but that I'm not all that worried about sound quality at the moment.

Pam Anderson.
I would include what sub you have instead of saying woofer irrelevant, because it is one of the main factors.

sub doesnt matter. I'm not asking for a specific design here.
car doesn't matter. Its a sedan, it makes no difference.
music doesn't matter. A box should play most types of music fairly well, I have said SQ doesn't really matter.
room doesn't matter. I said not too big, eg, no full size folded horns.
