Sealed HC?

is a sealed box a decent environment for an RE HC sub? I'm going to slap one together for my 15" that's coming, so i can take my time and make the ported box as best I can.

I dunno anything about Rh hc's but for all of my subs i have always use slot ported boxes. I do this because i can tune the box to a specific hz easily. It's just my personal preference for ported boxes over sealed. I can usually get louder deeper clearer bass out of a ported box. Hope i helped some.
