I wouldn't really recommend using a folded horn in a vehicle as they don't normally work out well. Are you building this for a home or car application?

I haven't seen one in an SPL application, but they're awfully impressive for output, and the one I heard was acceptable in terms of accuracy as well

If you have money for a design, why not just pay Decware for it? Their customer support is top-notch...for both their designs and their amplifiers.

The chart above shows the SPL response potential for a pair of 10" Rockford Fosgate woofers (RF108's) in a perfect 4th order enclosure of 10.01 cubic feet. The response is indicated by the blue line in the chart.
Using the same woofers, the response was measured after installation into this dual band pass horn. The results of that are indicated by the red line in the chart.

The yellow area represents a serious gain in efficiency between the two enclosures. The dual band pass enclosure is also smaller in size by 1 cubic foot.

If 50w to a pair of $5 8" power acoustic subs is decent enough for this picky bastage to listen too. Imagine what decent subs with power would be like.

It's not that big really . a pair of 8's in this one in the back of the chitbox
