dont get boxes from e-bay... yes they are 3/4 mdf but they cut the wood crooked and strip the screws on them. and there is a possibility there will be shipping damages. even though there is insurance on some of them, why waste your time shipping a box back and forth??? if you are going to buy one, get one from a website built but a name you can trust like q logic or something of that nature

where can i get a qlogic boxOriginally posted by My'97Ram

Is qlogic better than a local car audio dealer?
your local car audio dealer such as Circut City, Best Buy, BrandsMart USA, and Sound Advice should sell q logic. at least in Florida they do. but go to your local car audio dealer. if they make their own boxes, ask to see how they make them and what they make them out of. the best WOOD boxes are made out of 3/4 in MDF (i think that stands for medium density fiberboard) if they do show you one of the uncarpeted boxes (it will look just like wood), make sure that the box looks like a good product. there will be no gaps where the pieces of wood meat, and there will be no visible screws coming out the side or stripped screws...
good luck

i was wondeering how u cut the holes for u subs to go in. cuz wouldnt it be kidna hard to cut perfect circles and have the subs fit nicely in them...? how do people do this correctly.

well what i do, is use a jig to draw the circle, then i use a jigsaw to cut partially inside the circle that i drew then later i sand it out to a perfect (well close) circle.
