    18'' xxx cut out

    anybody know hoe big the cut out is of an 18'' xxx
    someone is wanting me to build them a box and they gave me demesions that were only 17'' high and i dont think thats gonna work

    i couldnt find a cutout for a 18xxx but the cutout for a 18 comp vr is 16 15/16 inches, and usually most of the cutouts are usually the same, so id go with that

    Ohh, you're saying the panel the sub needs to be attached to is only 17" tall? Well, i think it would be hard to fit an 18" sub on a 17" sheet of wood.

    thats what i was thinkin but this guy keeps tellin me he wants the box 17'' tall

    umm... unless hes talking 17" high and the sub on a slant? getting the basket in the hole might not be to hard, but actually mounting it would be (imposible?) in my mind...
