    Is this SPL box plan okay?

    Going in a 98-2004 Camaro.. Running an Orion 1200d and a 12" Resonant Engineering SX:

    Vehicle: 2007 Mazda RX8
    Head unit: Stock
    Door Speakers: Stock
    Amplifiers: 1 Orion 1200D to sub
    Sub: Resonant Engineering SX 12" in a 2cu.ft. ported enclosure tuned to 35hz
    Electrical: Stock but Big 3 in 4g.

    i think you should cut back a bit on the box size and port width, they go hand in hand if you dont change the length... and i'd cut length too, seeing how its a hatch and its probably going to peak in the 50's or higher...

    I would make the box a little smaller, especially if its a burp box

    you should not put a turn in it if its a burp box. aeros are a good thing to use because you can easily change tuning.

    seems like a lot of port area. You can change the xmax number to change the port area...
