I have a 03 VW Jetta fold down rear seats.
I have a sd1500d and a dd 3515 d2, and im rear firing with a rear ported box.


Should i seal (bondo/sludge/hushmatt and or some how seal) the rear deck and leave the seats down. Or cut/gut the rear deck except for the strips to hold the cover if I ever sell it. leaving me with 3 big wholes for air, and then bondo/fiberglass the reast to make it smooth and solid?... and also put the seats down or up???? once the rear deck is gutted...


Suggestions on which route to take.

I would only worry about sealing off the deck if you plan on firing forward in the future. If you have no plans of that, just leave the holes in the deck.

Well its getting sealed our cut out, cus it rattles... Im def not forward firing

Deaden the HELL out of it and be done with it.... MANY layers on top/bottom of the metal and backside of the top piece. Mine doesn't rattle
