box specs needed
I used one of those box calculators online from http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=17 and it popped out saying that my box needed to be 16.237 cubic feet for 2 subs. I was just wonderinf if this was correct. The specs of the subs are: Fs = 27Hz Qys = 0.43 Vas = 6.10 cuft DCR = 4ohm/coil Xmax(one way) = 1.75"
If anyone could tell me if what it gave me was a decent internal volume or if it isn't, someone who could tell me what what be better, please let me know.

16 cubic feet? Thats enormous!!!
If the box were square that would mean the dimensions were 2.5' x 2.5' x 2.5'.
Thats way too big!

The box will be built for 2 15" eclipse titanium subs (sw9152). I was told i'd need to make the box doubly reinforced or something like that due to the weight of the subs, but i'm don't know if the guy was bullshitting me or not.

i wanna port them. Hey, snova031 my aim is adamk84. that may be a bit easier than each of us posting off and on
