Opinions on this box

So I been thinking of designs of the enclosure for my BL. The owner of Innovative Rides in Houston recommended this box (pic) for my sub.

Pictured is a box they have done in a Ranger just like mine. It is about 4-5 cuft and tuned to about 37 hz. He said he'll size it and tune it to whatever I want (4 @ 35hz probably). The sub in the pic is an RE SX I believe. He was telling me how loud it was and everything. So I just need general opinions on this enclosure. I never really knew the pros and cons of downfiring subs. How good would it be for SPL vs SQ? (going for a lil more SPL)

Should I go ahead and get one built for me? Only $250, not bad deal

i think it is kool i have a ranger so i can see why someone would build a box like that, its very uniqe . it just inspired me i might build one like that too
