That it could.
But with proper planning and saving the cut pieces, you can install it back to near factory status.
Some tack welds, some grinding, some seam sealer and paint and your good to go.
And it will help to make a panel for the rear wall to cover that up. I bet 90% of the buyers(or more) would never look.
The bitter after-taste of a poor quality job will last far longer than
the sweetness of that cheap price!

exactly my thinking, but i was told that if i did not alert the buyer i could be sued for fraud. but, for example, how is cutting the back out that much different from installing an aftermarket sunroof.
