    deadening soft top

    would puttin a layer of sound deadener on my soft top make a difference?

    Are you talking on the convertible top itself? Please don't do that. It won't help and you'll ruin the top.

    Buy a hard top and deaden the hard top. Otherwise do nothing and save money.

    who would want to deadened their soft tops? heat from the sun would melt the deadening material. you'd end up deadening your car seats:p
